Operators Euroferries will be offering 4 crossings each way every day during this winter. Frequency will be increased during the summer, they say.
Euroferries has launched its new website and online booking system allowing customers to purchase their tickets for the brand new high speed cross channel fast ferry service between Ramsgate and Boulogne.
Online tickets are currently available from just £49 for a day trip including a car and up to five passengers.
There will be four daily crossings each way between the two ports starting on the on the 14th of November 2009.
Foot passengers, cars, vans, motor homes, minibuses, caravans, coaches, bikes and trailers are all able to use the new service.
Check-in time only 30 minutes minimum before departure and the crossing time is just 75 minutes berth to berth.
Euroferries first vessel is ‘Bonanza Express’, a 95 metre Incat wave-piercing catamaran – they say that a further high speed vessel will join route in 2010.
“Bonanza Express” will be the second ferry sailing into port of Boulogne, joining the LD Lines conventional ferry operating from Dover. LD Lines previously operated the 112 metre high speed Incat ferry “Norman Arrow” on this route, but have replaced it with the conventional ferry “Norman Spirit”, which has a greater freight vehicle capacity.

A specialist travel firm providing specialist holidays in the Mediterranean island of Menorca has announced its dates for 2010.

“There is something to offer all of our guests on this beautiful and unspoilt Mediterranean island,” they told us. “Menorca is a world recognised nature reserve and, apart from its wonderful coastline, it also offers visitors a whole range of dramatic and varied scenery.”

Their walks are comfortable, interesting and taken at a leisurely pace. With most guests in their 40’s, 50’s, 60’s or early 70’s they are certainly not in the business of marching you from A to B as quickly as possible!

Painting holidays teacher is Denise Allen. Although Denise is a very experienced and popular artist, she says, “My first and greatest passion is teaching people of all levels how to paint and draw. My main aim is to work with students own style of painting, building on their strengths and helping overcome any personal challenges.

Whether students have worked steadily for years to develop their drawing and painting skills or have not picked up a brush since leaving school, I believe that I can provide new insights and tips on techniques that will enable them to make progress as an artist.

Lastly, I believe in creating a calm, light and low stress atmosphere for your creativity to flourish. After all, Menorca Painting Holidays are to be enjoyed not endured!”
